I Cracked the Code on Realistic AI Selfies 🤯

I finally cracked the code on creating realistic AI-generated selfies that actually look like real-life images, down to the smallest details—like skin texture and visible skin pores.

This is what I am doing:

I am using 3 LoRA models:

1. My Likeness LoRA – I used my Avatar guide which you can find here to do so for yourself

2. Skin Texture LoRA – I trained a skin texture LoRA; this is key to achieving that realistic skin look. It helps with pores and textures being visible and removes the “fake” polished skin effect. (*Skin Video Tutorial Coming Soon)

3. iPhone Selfie Style LoRA – I trained an iPhone image style lore to get that classic iPhone selfie effect so it adds more realism.

On top of that, I used .jpg and .heic as trigger words in the prompt to boost the realism even more. And, to hit that sweet Instagram/Snapchat story effect, I stuck with the 9:16 aspect ratio.

For even sharper, more lifelike results, these images can be fine-tuned in Photoshop by increasing the sharpness, making the skin texture pop even more.
